Rome, the city of light, culture and history hosted two extraordinary concerts by the music school PIANO FORTE.
It was a special honor for us to be a guest at the Music Festival of Nations in Rome. Music performers but also teachers in PIANO FORTE together with students awarded in several international competitions, held two all-night concerts in Teatro Marcello in Campitelli.

The preparations for these concerts enabled a close professional cooperation among our teachers who, despite teaching with the students, devoted themselves tirelessly to practicing and making music. The numerous rehearsals in front of an audience in the chamber hall served to promote the project and the idea of a cultural presentation of contemporary world and Macedonian music in Rome in front of collaborators and supporters of classical and contemporary music. It represents additional motivation and encouragement for the whole school. In fact, it is always best to influence by personal example.
At the concerts, the artists presented their highly professional performance level in which their personal expression and extraordinary interpretation were woven. The youngest performers, inspired by the professionalism of the adults, gave their best and managed to bring a special freshness to the whole event. To experience being a guest at such a prestigious festival, in the heart of the eternal city, is a great experience for our students.

In the beautiful setting of Teatro Marcello, the concerts were greeted with genuine enthusiasm by the audience and the festival management. In that context, we would like to mention some of the comments from the audience: “We are from V. Britain, we are in Rome for a symposium. We were very lucky to be given the opportunity to attend this wonderful event,” “Your student’s performance touched my heart.”

PIANO FORTE strongly supports the performing musicians in its team and at the same time encourages them to constantly cultivate the concert activity. It gives the teaching staff a higher quality in teaching. The constant practice and improvement of the selected compositions strengthens the spirit and raises the morale of the artist. We pedagogues must not forget this, because it affects the educational process as a whole. Therefore, concert performances by adult artists and their students become part of our curriculum. The students are introduced to performing activities at a professional level from an early age. The process they go through to reach a performing finish is imbued with a lot of hard work, focus and discipline and it pays off in all areas of a young person’s development.

Our goal is to help future generations discover their talent and ability and nurture it. Some of them will become professional artists, while others will become lovers of beautiful music. After all, this is the purpose of PIANO FORTE’s existence, to bring beauty and hope into people’s lives with music.

More such events, collaborations between the teaching staff and the students, both here and abroad, are planned in the nearest future. With great excitement, we await the next visits to the Republic of Slovenia, in the new school year 2023/24.
