Violeta Stefanovska- Shukovikj, MA- Founder, piano professor, manager of the piano department and academic director of the school.

Violeta Stefanovska- Shukovikj graduated at the Piano Department at the Faculty of Music Arts in Skopje. She attained her MA in Australia, at the Tasmanian Conservatorium of Music, in the class of the famous Australian pianist prof. Ian Monroe.

She has performed on stage in Macedonia and Australia as a solo performer in many evening recitals, as well as a piano back up. Her repertoire covers a vast variety of the most important piano pieces of different epochs- from the Baroque and Classicism, through Romanticism, Impressionism, all to music from the 20th century.

She has taken part in many seminars, together with highly distinguished piano- educational professionals such as Vladimir Krpan, Arbo Valdma, Rita Kinka and Jokut Mihajlovic.

Violeta has worked as a correpetitor at the String Department at the DMBUC “Ilija Nikolovski- Luj” in Skopje and as a piano professor. In 2006 she stayed in Kuala Lumpur, Malesia, where she worked as an assistant to prof. Snezana Panovska, with the classes for gifted students.

She is a member of international music competitions commissions, as well as of the European Piano Teachers Association- EPTA.

Violeta is a founder of the school “Pianoforte” in the year 2000, which functions as a Piano School until 2010, when she is joined by Marina Chado, with whom as a team they continue the work of the school and develop other departments. She mentors young teachers, by educating them in the methodology specifics of the Piano Department at “Pianoforte”. Many generations of young musicians have been educated under her mentorship, and both teachers and students alike have attained high results on an international level.
