Guitar
The guitar is a musical instrument with tracks, which is used in various music genres and is also known as a solo classical instrument. In pop music it is considered to be a main instrument in genres such as blues, country, flamenco and rock music. The guitar usually has six strings, but there are guitars with seven, eight, ten, eleven, twelve and eighteen strings. Instruments much similar to the guitar have been popular during the past 5000 years at least. The modern word guitar comes from the ancient Persian word sithar. In the Macedonian language it comes from the Greek word κιθάρα.
