Individual teaching
The private music school “Pianoforte” from Skopje offers the most modern music curriculum and has been successfully enriching the education of many children and young people for 24 years.
We are all different
Each person has a special way of learning!
The little secrets of the great musical virtuosos were traditionally passed down from generation to generation, from teacher to student. Each lesson is filled with enormous creative energy, aimed at fulfilling the student’s current capacities for development!
Whatever the student’s primary program of choice, it’s helpful to experience a one-on-one class once in a while!
Work on an individualized program
In the individual class, instrumental technique and musical repertoire are developed according to an individualized methodology for the student. The interpretation of the compositions develops in the context of the emotional and stylistic response of the student.
While the degree of technique expected to be developed in a particular year or stage of development is considered the standard in musical instrumental pedagogy, the speed and approach with which they are mastered may vary depending on the individual circumstances of the student. Therefore, when we work with a student one-on-one, the student is given a curriculum and musical repertoire that they can personally respond to. He works on an individualized program through which he will gain the greatest benefit and follow the course of musical development at his optimal speed.

Concerts and competitions
Concerts and competitions take place in the final stage of the preparation of the repertoire. These performances are an opportunity for music students to pass on the diversity of the repertoire and the style of music making, and thus learn more by listening to each other. For some compositions, the performances are also performed with the instrumental accompaniment of a teacher. By seeing the different possibilities and degrees of achievement, they understand the importance of focused and thorough study of the assigned task over a long period of time.
Musical development is closely related to the emotional and psychophysical development of the person.
The meeting with the teacher face to face, opens the doors to the student to the specific secrets of music that he is ready to understand and apply at that moment.
Finally, let’s not forget: we are all different – each person has a special way of learning! For generations, individual lessons have focused on the specifics of the person who has set himself the task of getting the best out of himself through music.

The Early Advantage
Why a musical instrument at the earliest age of children?
Marina Chado- Founder, violin professor, manager of the String Instrument Department and executive director of the school
There are numerous researches in the world about the role of music in the development of the youngest, which indicates exceptional results in children.
Playing an instrument directly affects the development of motor skills and concentration. Very often we meet children who have a hard time handling precise finger movements up to the age of 8. Playing an instrument is preceded by numerous games for awakening fine motor skills. Then those exercises continue on the instrument in an attempt to master the appropriate skills by creating cultivated sounds. Concentration is one of the most common elements that we should pay a lot of attention to. We have witnessed how our youngest spend their free time. My experience shows that today’s children can hardly keep their attention on one activity for a long time. Through playing an instrument we create an exceptional habit of building and developing concentration for the process.
We trace the path to success
In the process of overcoming difficulties, challenges and barriers in life lies the feeling of happiness and success. That perseverance and tenacity to overcome a certain difficulty is learned from an early age and is very visible in learning to play the piano or any other instrument.
As a long-time piano teacher, I face the challenge of showing a child that there is nothing that cannot be mastered with enough effort and perseverance. Usually, at the first barrier in playing, most of the children say “I can’t”. The greatness of a good teacher is to find a way to show the child that he/she CAN – every time and without exception with a little more effort and persistence. The greatest gift for me is when I see a big smile on the child’s face at the moment when the child realizes that he/she can solve something that was difficult and problematic until a little while ago and master it. And that’s how every child who plays an instrument learns every day about life, and gradually we pave the way to success. That’s why parents, help them overcome, and become a stronger person, persevere and thus he/she will have the opportunity to become a successful and satisfied person.
